Beauty | The Ordinary by Deciem

Have you ever tried a product you had to tell your friends all about? Well, I have tried three products for the last few weeks from The Abnormal Beauty Company – The Ordinary by Deciem.

The reason why The Ordinary by Deciem has made an international name for itself is because it offers amazing effective products at the most affordable prices – I mean, does it get any better?

This brand has a lot of products which can seem a little bit overwhelming at first, but I found the “Regimen Guide” on their website to be really helpful. It’s a guide full of suggestions on how to combine different products for a single regime. I often feel like I do have an impure skin, therefore I quickly decided to just go for the “example regimen for signs of congestion & the look of blemishes” – and I’m obsessed!

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%
Niacinamide is a Vitamin B3, which reduces the appearance of skin blemishes and congestion. The zinc salt helps the high Niacinamide concentration to balance out any signs of sebum activity. As a result this treatment targets blemishes, congestion and oil production – yay! I always apply this serum (am & pm) right after I cleanse my face. This formula makes a surprisingly noticeable difference in making my skin tone appear more even. I also noticed my recurring breakouts vanish and had an inner glow like never before. It’s my personal skincare Yoda.

Salicylic Acid 2% Solution
This treatment uses salicylic acid to exfoliate the inside walls of the pores to fight the appearance of blemishes and for better visible skin. It works above and below the skin to exfoliate, brighten and clear pores from any congestion. This solution should be used carefully several times a week – I used this product twice a day (am & pm) and totally burnt parts of my skin. Ouch. Be careful and just don’t overdo it – otherwise this product is a champ.

100% Plant-Derived Squalane
I’ve never thought about having dry skin in general. Like, how do you even know when your facial skin is thirsty? I sure as hell don’t! Blemishes and congestion just always caught my attention. But after getting a detailed analysis of my skin the cosmetician told me otherwise. I’m not telling you to go out there and see a cosmetician – I’m just telling you to get some good moisturizer and apply it on your beautiful face. Your skin will appreciate it! I rub a few drops of this oil into my visage, especially right now during the colder weather I don’t want to miss out on this one in the daytime as well – this stuff’s amazing underneath makeup. Be generous with some more drops before bedtime – you’ll wake up feeling plump AF. It’s hydrating magic on its own.

I’m pretty smitten with the products as you can probably tell! I also had a lot to say about them.
Have you tried any of these? Tell me!
